Topic: How to communicate more effectively at work and at home Communicating effectively should be easy shouldn’t it? We’ve all been doing it since we were very young and yet sometimes when it really matters it can all go horribly wrong. To understand why this is and what you can do about it to prevent it from happening we first need to understand ourselves better; our communication style and needs and how this might be perceived by others. Hugh & Sally regularly run workshops for businesses seeking to improve the effectiveness of the communications of senior business executives.
During this session they will provide an overview of different communication styles and give everyone an opportunity to learn more about their own preferred style and to better understand the preferred styles of others and how to more effectively communicate with people who’s communication style is different to their own.
I work with businesses which recognise that people are their greatest asset and their greatest risk. I focus on how to make your communications stand out.
I coach individuals and teams on how to deliver key messages in interesting and memorable ways. My approach is to work closely with each person to develop their existing communication skills, to express their individual expertise, and work within an integrated team.
Together we run successful Behavioural Assessment Centre preparation days for large scale infrastructure bids in the Rail, Road and Water sectors as well as Powerful Communication workshops, aimed at empowering delegates to achieve their full potential.
Why should any business do a health check? How can it help? What should I think about? What are the key steps?
